Steve Sherwood, MAI, is the Principal and Founder of Valuation Plus, Inc., which he started in 2001. A New York State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser, he holds the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute and has appraised commercial and residential property since 1985. His experience includes apartment buildings, retail and industrial properties, hotels, marinas, golf courses and special-purpose properties. He serves as an expert witness in New York State Supreme Court, including tax certiorari and condemnation matters. He holds a B.A. from St. Lawrence University.

Joe Spagnolo, MAI
Senior Appraiser
Joe Spagnolo, MAI, is a Senior Appraiser at Valuation Plus, Inc. He holds the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute and is a New York State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser. He has been with the firm since 2005 and has managed its mortgage finance division since 2015, handling fee quotes, client reviews and consultations. His appraisal work includes apartment buildings, retail, industrial, medical and professional office buildings, restaurants, hotels, religious facilities and schools. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration (Finance) from Bryant College.

Jerry Verrilli is a Senior Appraiser at Valuation Plus, Inc., and a New York State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser. He has appraised commercial and residential property with the firm since 2003, including apartment buildings, retail and professional office buildings, industrial properties, hotels, nursing homes, automotive dealerships, subdivisions and vacant land. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Clarkson University and has completed appraisal coursework in income property valuation, USPAP and fair housing.

Office Manager
Anne Balfe is the Office Manager at Valuation Plus, Inc. She keeps the office running and supports the appraisal team and the firm's clients.
